HIMA (Himpunan Mahasiswa Akuntansi) was formed on September 26th, 1993 by accounting students of UMY.

Our Vision

Our association vision is to be accounting students association who are competent not only academic activities but also non-academic activities, able to compete with other majors, both in FEB environment and outside FEB environment.

Our values

We create an atmosphere of harmony, brotherhood, integrity, and professionalism to accounting students.

Our philosophy

Our philosophy is “Solidarity” which means symbol of strong bonds of friendship rooted in the identity of members of HIMA that always uphold the principle of kinship, integrity and professionalism.

ACTIVITIES

We evolved into a forum through our activities and events for accounting students to learn and train organization skills, soft skills and hard skills, also develop interests and talents in the economic field in general, and accounting in particular. We also bridge the accounting students in expressing creativity and delivering all of accounting student's ideas, thought and opinion in proper way to build a strong relationships and forming closer kinship.

    Bismillahirahmanirrahim
    Assalamualaikum Wr Wb, selamat pagi teman teman peserta International Accounting Week 2015 khususnya teman teman peserta essay. Setelah melewati masa penyeleksian essay yang sudah teman - teman kirimkan kepada kami, alhamdulillah sekarang kami sudah mendapatkan nama - nama yang masuk di 5 besar finalis essay yang nantinya akan diundang untuk mempresentasikan hasil essaynya pada hari Rabu tanggal 18 maret 2015 di Gd. Ar fachrudin B lt.5 kampus UMY. Peserta yang lolos kebabak finalis diantaranya yaitu :
